“I believe that this game carries great risks for the newest team. The first is perhaps the lowest turnout in the times of independence, which distorts the real sympathies of the whole society, ”Gerashchenko wrote on her Facebook page.

According to her, the “adventure” with the early elections was organized by the team of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, with the expectation of a low turnout.

“For the period of holidays and vacations, based on the peak of electoral support and sympathy for Zelensky,” added the vice-speaker.

Earlier it was reported that as of 4:00 pm, turnout in the extraordinary parliamentary elections was 36.59%. Whereas in the previous early elections in 2014, at the same time, turnout was more than 40%.

The lowest turnout (30%) was recorded in the western regions of the country.

Political analyst Maxim Zharov, in an interview with the FAN, said that the elections in Ukraine are taking place with a lot of violations, and this casts doubt on the legitimacy of the future Verkhovna Rada.
