China is resuming imports of agricultural products from the United States, according to state media. There are many analyzes that mean the resumption of trade talks between the US and China.

Chinese companies have begun re-importing US agricultural products, official Xinhua news agency reported.

Some Chinese companies have asked US exporters to buy agricultural products and applied for additional tariff exemptions.

The Customs Bylaws Committee of the State Council also added that the companies would soon review applications for exemptions.

The purchase of US agricultural products by China has been analyzed in the sense that trade negotiations between the two countries, which had been suspended, will resume soon.

The editorial staff of Huanggu Shi, a media of Chinese nationalism, said that the two countries could meet directly and resume talks through Twitter.

The two leaders agreed last month to halt the imposition of additional duties and resume trade negotiations at the Osaka G20 Summit.

To this end, the United States promised to ease Huawei sanctions, and China promised to repurchase agricultural products from the United States.

However, President Trump has publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with China's lack of resumption of purchases.

After the G20 agreement, the US-China trade negotiators agreed to continue negotiations in Beijing, but only two phone calls have been made.

However, there is still a large gap in the key issues between the two countries, and China emphasizes mutual respect and equal talks. Even if trade negotiations resume, it seems difficult to conclude.
