The African Football Confederation has released its XI type of CAN 2019. Not surprisingly, it is dominated by Senegalese and Algerian players but Tunisia and Nigeria are also in the spotlight.

Senegal lost in the CAN final against Algeria, which won the trophy for the second time in its history, but the Lions of Teranga will have at least one consolation prize: they are the team the more represented in the XI type of competition unveiled this Sunday, July 21 by the African Football Confederation.

With five players, the Senegalese form the bulk of the troops of this type eleven. It includes the lateral Youssouf Sabaly and Lamine Gassama but also the central defender Kalidou Koulibaly, midfielder Idrissa Gueye and the star striker, Sadio Mané.
