Abu Dhabi's Education and Knowledge Department has announced the opening of the 10th edition of the HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Higher Education Program for Zayed University Graduates in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, which is supervised by the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development. The program provides an opportunity for Emirati students from Zayed University graduates wishing to complete their master's or doctorate degrees from leading universities inside and outside the country. The department determined seven conditions for joining the scholarship, including that the nature of the study and specialization correspond to the specializations specified on the registration page, and that the applicant has academic acceptance from one of the educational institutions within the recommended universities at the Department of Education and Knowledge, explaining the type of study, , In addition to the study of regular or partial attendance at the campus of the educational institution in the country of study, and in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education, and provide the Department of Education and knowledge to benefit from the accreditation of the program of the ministry.
The remainder of the seven conditions included: the cumulative average of the applicant should not be less than 3.0 points in the bachelor's degree at the time of graduation, and the applicant must have a minimum of 6 on the IELTS academic exam or equivalent, and provide a certificate of service for the national service In addition to accompanying the applicant with a separate letter (letter of intent) explaining the purpose of the study and confirming his commitment to continue working in the chosen field of specialization.
The Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Higher Education Grant Program was launched in May 2011 to fund scholarships for Zayed University graduates in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for master's and doctorate degrees for creative students who demonstrate their commitment, excellence and desire to gain experience and knowledge.
The grant covers the cost of education for students enrolled in selected universities in the country, while external missions include tuition, travel, living and accommodation costs for students who wish to complete their education at foreign universities outside the country.
