The National Elections Commission has completed the preparation of forms for all forms and applications related to the conduct of the elections of the Federal National Council, scheduled for September 22 to October 5, to be submitted to the electoral committees and centers to be submitted to the citizens of the electoral bodies, whether they wish to run or Objectors to any of the candidates.

The total number of official forms related to the conduct of the electoral process included six editors, five of which were concerned with the procedures, mechanisms and cost of election campaigns, in return for a form to challenge any candidate or any procedure in the electoral process.

In the coming period, the electoral commissions in the country will receive all the forms related to the conduct of the elections of the Federal National Council 2019 from the National Elections Committee, in order to gradually introduce them to the citizens of the electoral bodies. Next August, whether they want to run or object to any of the candidates for the elections.

The forms related to the electoral process included six forms, including five related to candidates only, and one to candidates or non-candidates from citizens who want to register appeals on the electoral process.

The first forms are the application for election, which is received by the candidate wishing to run for himself or by an agent, provided that after submission to the Committee of the Emirate to which he belongs in the places determined by the Committee, while the second form relates to the request to approve the campaign plan for the candidate, This form is used when the candidate wishes to obtain a license on his / her electoral campaign plan, including data on the candidate applicant, and a statement of the activities and events planned to be carried out by "TV advertising, press releases, meetings, street ads" and the number of times In addition to the approval of the candidate for the validity of the data contained in the request and his commitment to abide by the electoral campaign regulations contained in the executive regulations of the elections, as well as his commitment to abide by the approved electoral campaign plan, To submit the request to the Election Management Committee », and finally the decision of the Election Management Committee on the request and its adoption.

The third form relates to the "application for the assignment of a candidate." This form is used when selecting candidates for their proxies from among the members of the constituencies of their respective emirates, including statements about the applicant and his signature and the date of submission of the application. The fourth form is the "application for withdrawal of candidacy", which is used if the candidate wishes to withdraw his candidacy (ie, the candidacy), which includes statements about the applicant and his signature and the date of submission. While the fifth form is concerned with "a statement of contributions received by the candidate." On the other hand, there is a single form related to the electoral process, which is submitted to the citizens or candidates, if requested by the committee, with the name "appeal request." This form is used in two cases of appeal against the candidacy of a person, The request and the reasons on which the appeal was based, as well as acknowledgment of the validity of the data and the details contained therein, as well as the opinion of the emirate's committee "which submits the applications to the appeals committee" and finally the decision of the National Elections Committee on the appeal and its adoption. According to the NEC, each member of an electoral body has the right to stand for election to the Federal National Council of the Emirate to which he belongs, if he has four main conditions: "to be a citizen of the State, to reside permanently in the Emirate he represents in the Federal National Council, (Born on the 4th of October 1994 and the previous year), and to be civil, well-informed, not reputable, who has not been convicted of an offense against honor, unless he has been rehabilitated according to Of law, and finally that he has sufficient knowledge of literacy. According to the NEC, members of electoral bodies wishing to run for the FNC elections in 2019 can submit applications through another agency, provided that a special agency accredited by the notary public is provided in accordance with the model approved by the emirate's committee or through a modern public agency To authorize the agent to take action to run for the elections of the Federal National Council 2019.

Registration places

The National Elections Committee confirmed that the registration of candidates for parliamentary elections is in the places specified by the UAE committees in each emirate. Members of the electoral bodies wishing to run must submit their candidacy papers to the emirate committee to which each belongs.
