This is the third year in a row that Adama Traoré's family organized a rally on Saturday in Beaumont-sur-Oise to mark the death of the young man, on July 19, 2016, who died asphyxiating the premises of the gendarmerie after a muscled arrest. The "yellow vests" and several associations were also there to show their support.

With this new march, the family of Adama Traore hoped to make this day " a historic act " against " police violence ".

" We do not want in 2020, there is still a march for Adama but there is a trial, " says the sister of Adama Traore.

New medical expertise expected

In March, the investigating judges who were preparing to close their investigation without questioning the gendarmes reopened their investigations after the submission of a medical report made at the request of the family and which contradicted the conclusions on the death, attributed to the previous state of health of the young man.
