Starting early in Cairo, the Senegal team arrived in Dakar mid-afternoon on Saturday, July 20th. After a short walk in crowds at Yoff Airport, the players and their coach rushed on a bus to their hotel.

Two words from Youssouf Sabaly and nothing more. It is in silence, greeting the fans without making a statement that Aliou Cissé and his players crossed the crowd before getting on the bus.

In the crowd, Mamadou Cisse, the father of the Lions breeder , a proud father of his son, " a brave boy, a tall straight boy, is even called a lion ".

What future for this team?

It's time for celebrations, but the future of this national team and especially Aliou Cissé is in all the talks. Sports Minister Matar Ba did not want to talk about the future of the coach - " it's too early to talk about that " - but he praised his work. " Aliou Cisse, I take his hat. I saw his commitment, I saw his patriotism . "

In celebrating their Lions, Senegalese fans, like Lamine Diedhiou, have in any case shown their pride in these Lions who " did an exceptional job. We lost the battle, but not the war . They proved they would be " always behind the lions " and that they were counting on this team for future competitions.
