"We are constantly reviewing our security measures at all of our airports around the world and suspended flights to Cairo for seven days as a precautionary measure in order to conduct a further assessment," said a British Airways report.

As stated in the German airline, Lufthansa decided to suspend flights for security reasons.

“Since safety is a top priority for Lufthansa, the airline has temporarily suspended flights to Cairo today while the situation is being assessed,” said a company spokesman.

Earlier it was reported that the British airline British Airways from October 3 will stop flights from London to St. Petersburg and Kiev.
