The Foreign Ministry commented on the US draft on new sanctions against Russia

They noted that there were already about 20 bills of this kind on the agenda of the US Congress, recalling that the US administration imposed sanctions against Russia in connection with what happened in the Kerch Strait on March 15th.

“It’s a pity, however, that pursuing narrow-minded political goals, they only aggravate the atmosphere of relations between Russia and the United States, on whose condition global stability depends,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier, a group of American congressmen introduced a bill to the House of Representatives, imposing sanctions against 24 representatives of the FSB of Russia in response to the arrest of 24 Ukrainian sailors after the incident in the Kerch Strait.
