“The united grouping in close cooperation with the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the North Caucasus in the first half of 2019 conducted more than 1,450 special operations and events, including two counter-terrorist operations,” Rosgvardiy said.

As it is specified, for the specified period 20 participants of terrorist cells were neutralized.

In April, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev at a meeting on national security in the North Caucasus said that in 2018, representatives of the country's security forces destroyed 64 militants in the region.
