Algeria won the African Cup of Nations, to end in the jubilant 29 years of waiting, thanks to its victory against Senegal (1-0) in the final in Cairo. From Marseille to Lille via Paris, Algerian fans from France let their joy in the streets.

"We are proud to be Algerian! It comes in the continuity of what is happening in Algeria now. We are so fighting for freedom that the fact that we won, it has a political connotation. "Long live Senegal, long live Algeria, long live Africa"
