Benjamin Griveaux held this Thursday evening July 18 his first meeting for municipal in Paris in a theater in the 10th arrondissement of the capital. The candidate of the Republic on the march (LaREM), invested a week ago, wanted to kick off his campaign surrounded by several ministers, deputies and a thousand supporters. But the controversy surrounding his insulting remarks against his former rivals for the party's inauguration upset his plans. Le Point unveiled on Wednesday that Benjamin Griveaux insulted in private Hugues Renson and Cédric Villani. The former government spokesman tried to backtrack with his former opponents.
