He said that the Indra-2019 exercise would take place in India and that aviation, fleet and ground forces would participate in them.
“Russia is the only country with which we conduct such large-scale exercises,” the Marshal noted.
According to him, the theme of the exercise will be joint anti-terrorist operations mandated by the UN.
“For us, this is a very important experience. And what we would like to learn from you is connected with the use of aviation against terrorists in Syria. We also understand that these exercises are very useful for establishing closer contacts and sharing experience with your pilots, who, like no other, know their equipment, ”added Birender Singh Dhanoa.
