Europe 1 presents "Being Parents", a series of four podcasts offered and directed by Kinder. Immerse yourself in the stories of children and their parents enlightened by the expertise of a child psychiatrist.

Being a parent is not easy. But there are moments that make life mum and daddy's life. These are the moments explored by Kinder's "Being Parents" podcast series.

In each of the episodes, children and parents come to deliver their testimony, telling the links that unite them. With moments that are conducive to confession, sometimes in aparte parents. And their words will not fail to echo your personal experiences.

Dr. Agnès Pargade, child psychiatrist, presents throughout the recording, lavishes at the end of the episode his comments on these intimate stories and some advice that these discussions inspired him. What to take a step back on your own experiences and why not leave with one or two ideas to achieve with your children!

Episode 1: The little words, a powerful link between parents and children

The words you like to hear? "I love you," says Flavie, 7 years old. "Bravo", prefers his brother Edgar, 10 years old. These are the ones that their parents tell them most kindly, which is why they prefer them.

The child psychiatrist Agnès Pargade warns, "be careful not to say too much Bravo, it can have serious consequences". The boy might feel too much pressure, or take the big head.

During this first episode of "Being Parents", a podcast produced by Kinder, the testimonies of children and their parents show us how important the little words are! Illustrating to perfection the famous proverb "A sweet little word that is said in the ear, of little thing does wonders."

"Being Parents, Small Podcasts" is directed and produced by Kinder.
