2019-07-17T05:20:18.341Z

US President Donald Trump commented on the resolution adopted by Congress, which condemned his "racist remarks" to some members of the House of Representatives.

“It’s so great to see how united the Republican Party spoke today about the statements I made about the four women members of Congress,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

Trump said that in support of the resolution against him, only four representatives of his party voted, all the others opposed the adoption of the document.

Earlier, the congress by a majority vote condemned Trump’s remarks against some of his representatives, “reinforcing fear and hatred towards the new Americans.”

The resolution was supported by 240 parliamentarians, another 187 congressmen opposed its adoption.
