This will give them the opportunity to receive education, work, some kind of social package and security. In fact, Donetsk and Luhansk were forcibly cut off from Russia and we do not want our spiritual connection to be lost. It is from these goals that the president signed such a decree so that the residents of the republics feel that we are one people, ”said Jabarov.
According to the senator, if the policy of Kiev to their territories does not change, the situation may worsen even more.

Earlier, Putin expanded the number of Ukrainian citizens who can obtain Russian citizenship in a simplified manner.
Thus, Ukrainians who lived not only in “certain districts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine”, but also residents of these regions as a whole, can count on obtaining citizenship.
