“We appealed to the deputies of the European Parliament to present several positions in the resolution. This is the preservation of sanctions against Russia, "- Interfax quoted Poroshenko.

According to him, another position is to call for the execution of the decision of the International Tribunal on the "liberation of 24 Ukrainian sailors and ships."

“We emphasized that this qualifies as an act of aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in the Kerch Strait and the Sea of Azov,” he added.

In addition, as Poroshenko noted, the Ukrainian side asks the European Parliament to publish a “list of political prisoners illegally detained” in Russia.

Earlier, the head of the European Council, Donald Tusk, said that sanctions against Russia would not be lifted until the Minsk agreements were implemented.

On July 4, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, commenting on appeals to comply with the Minsk agreements, stressed that it was impossible to demand all the time from Russia that these agreements be fulfilled in that part that does not depend on it at all.
