The Rio-Paris flight AF447 crashed at sea in 2009, killing 228 people. The Paris prosecutor's office demands a trial for Air France and a dismissal for Airbus. A decision made after numerous reports and counter-expertises on this accident.

It took 10 years of expert battles to establish the responsibilities in the AF447 crash.

In 2011, two companies were indicted for manslaughter. On the one hand, the Air France company that was providing the flight, and on the other, the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus , the aircraft manufacturer.

Expert reports against reports requested by Airbus, the responsibility is finally attributed to Air France. The investigators claim that the direct cause of the accident results from inappropriate actions in manual flight crew. In other words, it is the lack of training of the drivers , ensured by the tricolor company, which would be at the origin of the crash.

In light of these reports, the Paris prosecutor's office considers that Air France has been negligent in not providing enough information to its pilots in the event of anomalies related to the probes which make it possible to control the speed in flight. are these probes that caused the aircraft to stall.

Nevertheless, the prosecution considers that there are no sufficient charges against Airbus to return him to correctional. It is now up to the investigating judges to decide whether or not to follow these recommendations. With the risk, for the civil parties, that certain points are never elucidated, the pilots having died in the accident.
