The Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal has started a Gulf trial accused of insulting his wife in terms of public taste by sending her text messages through the social networking application Watts Ab, which contained inappropriate excuses.

The court asked the husband about the charge against him, denied the accusation and confirmed that his wife's complaint against him is malicious, and that the marital relationship between them still exists, but there are sharp differences between them, and various lawsuits in which the wife demands divorce and payment of maintenance and custody of their children.

During the session, the court asked the husband to try to reconcile with his wife and settle the dispute. The husband confirmed that his previous attempts to reform were unsuccessful and that there is currently no room to settle the differences between them due to their multiplicity.

For his part, the defendant's lawyer demanded the acquittal of his client, pointing out that the court of first degree had in absentia sentenced the husband to two months suspended for five years, while the court decided to postpone the hearing to the hearing on Sunday, September 15 next to provide defense defendant.
