According to the publication, the department referred to the Federal Law “On the Troops of the National Guard of Russia”, according to which, when addressing a citizen, the Rosgvardians are not obliged to state their position, rank, surname, and also present an official ID.

It is noted that it is recommended to introduce oneself in order to avoid conflict situations, but not in cases of suppression of crimes and administrative offenses.

As specified, Rosgvardeets can inspect things, if it has reasonable grounds to believe that a citizen is suspected of committing a crime.

If there is no reason to consider someone as a suspect, then the fighters may offer such a person to voluntarily present things.
