“Tomorrow I will make a short working visit to Moscow, during which I will touch upon, in discussions with the leadership of the Russian Federation, the issue of reducing the price for the supply of natural gas to Moldova. This topic will be discussed at meetings both with the authorities of Russia and with the administration of JSC "Gazprom", - said the politician on his page on the social network Facebook.
Dodon stressed that a delay in this process could jeopardize the country's energy security, especially during the cold season.
Earlier, the President of Moldova on the TV channel NTV Moldova expressed the hope that by the middle of August he would be able to discuss with Russia getting a discount on gas before the end of 2019.
