As noted in the department, in the center of Moscow, the participants of the uncoordinated rally tried to set up a tent camp at the Moscow City Election Committee.
“They didn’t react to the lawful demands of the police to stop the illegal actions. In this connection, for the commission of administrative offenses under Art. 20.2 of the Administrative Code of Russia, more than 25 people were detained, including a number of organizers of the uncoordinated action, ”RIA Novosti quotes the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As noted in the department, the detainees are taken to the territorial police departments for investigation.
The agency also notes that opposition activist Ilya Yashin is also among the detainees.
Earlier, the Interior Ministry reported that about a thousand people are taking part in an event uncoordinated by the authorities in the center of Moscow.
