"It was reported that near the village of Yablochnoye, Velikopisarivsky district of the Sumy region, during the spraying of fields, the Mi-2 helicopter crashed," the office said in a statement.
Nine employees of the State Emergency Service, as well as three pieces of equipment, are working on site.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
