The Frenchman Benjamin Hébert, 13th at the start of the last lap, made a fantastic comeback to finish the Scottish Open tied with Bernd Wiesberger, before losing in dam this 3rd stage of the Rolex Series of the European EPGA circuit, Sunday, Romain Langasque taking a nice 3rd place.

Hébert, born in Brive 32 years ago and professional since 2009, managed nine birdies Sunday to settle in the lead until Wiesberger, a 33-year-old Austrian and 83rd world player, completed his career.

Tied with a total of -22 (262), Hébert lost to the 3rd hole of the dam. Small consolation, besides the 2nd place, he also won his ticket for the British Open, 3rd round of the Grand Slam of the year, which begins Thursday.

Langasque took the 3rd place, two shots from the leading duo.

Romain Wattel completed the overall good performance of the French with a 20th place (267), in the company of the German Martin Kaymer, winner of two Grand Slam tournaments, and the American Matt Kuchar, 2nd of the British Open. 2017.
