“Four victims of emergency in Sheki, including three Syrian tourists, were sent by helicopter to continue treatment in Baku,” TASS cites a statement by a press officer.

The ministry clarified that the affected citizens of Syria had fractured limbs, and another hospitalized person, who is a citizen of Azerbaijan, besides a fracture of his right leg, had a severe head injury.

In addition, physicians are considering the question of transporting another victim in emergency situations in Baku, who was diagnosed with a comminuted shin fracture, as well as a traumatic shock.

In the Sheki hospital there remains one victim who received a closed spinal injury.

"The rest of the victims after providing medical care were released to outpatient treatment," the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan specified.

Earlier it was reported that as a result of the accident at least 19 people were injured, including two tourists from Russia.
