Algeria qualified for the African Cup of Nations final thanks to a 2-1 victory over Nigeria in Cairo on Sunday, and joined Senegal, who struck Tunisia earlier in the day (1 -0 ap)

Djamel Belmadi's Fennecs opened the scoring in the 40th with the help of Nigerian William Ekong, before Odion Ighalo and his Super Eagles responded to the 73rd on the penalty spot. In added time, Algerian Riyad Mahrez delivered his teammates a powerful shot.
