The Federal Authority for Identity and Nationality announced the launching of its services stipulated by the Council of Ministers Decision No. 30 of 2019 concerning the recruitment of residents for their family members, which replaced the profession's condition of income.

The decision allows a resident of the State to work, whether male or female, to bring his or her family members (spouse, children under the age of 18 or unmarried girls) to stay when the family income (husband and wife) If the employer provides accommodation, or AED 4000 without housing.

The decision to bring family members, as mentioned above, requires the provision of adequate housing with proof that all of them are covered by health insurance for the duration of their stay, as well as proof of their registration in the Population Registry System and the issuance of an identity card for each of them.

Mr. Saeed Rakan Al-Rashdi, Director General of Foreign Affairs and Ports at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, said that this step contributes effectively to enhancing the family stability of workers residing in the country, raising productivity in the national economy, enhancing social cohesion and strengthening the UAE approach. Competencies with high skill in productivity in a balanced manner, while maintaining national constants and priorities, to achieve a competitive knowledge economy, a secure and cohesive society, and until the UAE is one of the happiest countries.

He added that these unprecedented privileges make it easier for resident workers to bring their families according to the security, economic and social aspects, which will bring happiness among their families, especially as the Council of Ministers has instructed the concerned authorities in the country to study and stimulate a number of facilities in basic services for foreign residents, Education and health and encourage the use of family members residing in the State, as an alternative to recruiting new workers from abroad.

Al-Rashedi stressed that this step enhances family stability and social cohesion and contributes to the elimination of gender-related negatives in the UAE society, as well as raising the productive capacity of the resident residents working in the UAE due to their positive impact on their personal lives. The world attracts people at all levels, whether individual, family, family or institutional, where they seek to live a decent life and psychological and social stability, and who wish to improve their economic and living conditions.

He explained that the procedures for submitting a family request under the Cabinet decision include that the resident, whether male or female, must present the marriage contract, the birth certificate to the children duly certified and translated into Arabic and proof of his monthly income under a recent salary certificate for employees in the government sector, Or work contract with a statement of account for the last three months for private sector employees.

Maj. Gen. Al-Rashedi pointed out that the widow and divorced woman can bring their children under this decision, provided that, along with the required basic documents, the certificate of divorce or death has been recently issued and duly certified, with proof of custody of the children.

He stressed the need to abide by the laws of the state, calling for caution to be involved in any unauthorized activity, and to ensure the renewal of residence on time, and not to fall in the violations that occur after the expiration of validity and the deadline granted by the Authority for renewal.

Providing adequate housing and proof of family health insurance coverage are prerequisites.
