The French pair Nicolas Mahut / Edouard Roger-Vasselin, at the end of an unbelievable double final at Wimbledon, which has almost reached 5 hours of play, finally lost to Colombians Juan Sebastian Cabal / Robert Farah on Saturday. -7, 7-6, 7-6, 6-7, 6-3.

From a nothing. Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin lost but probably played one of the finest finals in Wimbledon. Four tie-breaks, incredible points, a suspense stretched to the end ... But the French cracked at the very end of the match, concluded after 4:57 of play, four minutes to match the longest double final of history in London.

The record is still held by the final of 1992, won after 5:01 by the pair John Mc Enroe / Michael Stich.

Nicolas Mahut had already been titled in London in 2016, alongside Pierre-Hugues Herbert and against ... Roger-Vasselin. But he could not put his name on the charts for the second time. Another French pair won Wimbledon, formed by Arnaud Clément and Michael Llodra in 2007.
