The ministry called on citizens traveling abroad to participate in this program launched last year, providing comprehensive health coverage around the world at a cost of 500 thousand dirhams per person per year. The program is characterized by direct payment system, meaning that it will be paid The costs of treatment directly by the traveler program, unlike some other programs that oblige the insured to pay all costs, and then compensation later.
The direct payment system in the case of inpatient or outpatient care covers the value of the bill for more than 10 thousand dirhams, and if the cost of outpatient treatment is less than 10 thousand dirhams, the amount will be refunded within a maximum of 15 working days according to the benefits and conditions mentioned In the benefits table.
The annual insurance premium for the program is 399 dirhams for the age group (19 years and above) and 250 dirhams for participants in the age group (18 years and under).
The program aims to spare citizens and their families from the risks of emergency health conditions and incur additional costs while abroad. The program covers all emergency services, both inside and outside the hospital. The insured can contact a specialized call center which operates around the clock and throughout the year.
