“Americans are always driven by the desire to earn. And for this they come up with sanctions, restrictions and ridiculous accusations against Russia. Apparently, it became interesting for them to freeze this Russian public debt and remove its citizens from operations with it. Actually, they brought the rationale for this case, ”he said.
Morozov also noted that the United States has not yet canceled restrictive measures against the Russian side because of the situation with Moscow’s alleged involvement in the American elections.
“We have stated many times that Russia did not interfere in the internal affairs of the United States. But, nevertheless, the opinion that our country is guilty still dominates in the American information space. Therefore, such ridiculous accusations are often used to justify their actions, caused, in fact, by the desire to extract some kind of profit and benefit, ”said the deputy.
Earlier, the United States House of Representatives approved an amendment to the draft defense budget for the 2020 fiscal year, including, inter alia, the imposition of sanctions on the Russian government debt.
It is noted that the document provides a mechanism for the lifting of sanctions, if the US is convinced that Russia had no influence on the American presidential race of 2016.
