The Red Crescent Authority, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, President of the UAE Red Crescent Authority, is supporting efforts to support the humanitarian and development situation in the Comoros through the implementation of a number of development projects, Along with other projects in health, education, water, food and shelter materials.

A delegation from the Red Crescent Authority arrived in the Comorian capital Moroni to supervise the implementation of these projects and complete their own procedures in coordination with the competent authorities there.

The Secretary-General of the Red Crescent, Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al-Falahi, stressed that the UAE's move towards the Comoros was part of a number of humanitarian and developmental initiatives adopted by the State to alleviate human suffering and promote stability and development in brotherly and friendly countries.
