"We, the staff of the channel" 112 Ukraine ", ask law enforcement agencies to protect us from the arbitrariness of national radicals, who by intimidation and threats try to influence the editorial policy of the channel, force us to abandon world-wide broadcasting standards in favor of certain political interests" statement.

The report emphasizes that over the past five years, the Ukrainian authorities are fighting against freedom of speech. In support of these words, the appeal cites examples of attacks on individual Ukrainian journalists and on entire editorial boards.

Also in the statement it is told about the action of radicals near the building of the TV channel on July 13.

“We ask the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and the leadership of the National Police to fulfill their duties and protect the TV channel from any illegal actions, to stop the rampant banditry against journalists,” the statement says.
