Decathlon World Record Holder Kevin Mayer was only able to win a javelin throw at 67.52m on Friday at the Monaco Diamond League meeting, far from the winner of the day, Germany's Andreas Hofmann (87 , 84 m).
Kévin Mayer lined up against the specialists in the discipline, but he stayed away from his personal best (71.90 m), set in September 2018 in Talence when he broke the world decathlon record (9126 points) .
