It is noted that from July 16 to 18 Sullivan will visit Switzerland and Belgium.
"In Geneva, Undersecretary of State Sullivan will head the participation of the American delegation in the dialogue between the United States and Russia on strategic security with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Ryabkov," the agency said.
It is also reported that Sullivan will be accompanied by Under-Secretary of State for Arms Control Andrea Thompson.
On May 14, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held talks in Sochi with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, after which he was received by Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was Pompeo’s first visit to Russia as Secretary of State, he called it a positive step forward.
