Twitter said today it is investigating reports from some users about problems associated with accessing the site.

Down Detector.com, a specialist in monitoring such incidents, has reported that 50,000 people worldwide are reported to be out of service.

In March, there was a major disruption in Facebook services. Later, the company said that the reason was an amendment to its internal servers, which resulted in the disruption of the service for many users, and confirmed that the systems recovered, and apologized for the inconvenience caused by the interruption.

Facebook, Instagram and WAASAB have stopped working in North America, Europe and a number of South American countries, Down Detector said at the time that the disruption was the largest in the history of the site.
