This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

“They discussed settlement issues in the south-east of Ukraine and joint work on the return of persons held on both sides,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

Peskov indicated that during the negotiations an agreement was reached on the continuation of work in these areas at the level of experts.

The representative of the Russian president also added that during the conversation the possibility of continuing contacts in the Norman format was discussed.

Earlier, Putin commented on Zelensky’s proposal to hold talks with the participation of the leaders of the United States, Britain, Germany and France.
