According to RIA Novosti, in his ruling, the judge noted that the European arrest warrant issued by Sweden for Lisov violated the civil rights of the Russian.

At the conclusion of the judge, the citizen of Russia was put in a hopeless situation, his children were taken away and the impossible conditions for their return were put in place.

“The actions of the Swedish authorities violated the rights of children directly, deprived of their father’s love,” the judge said.

In April, it was reported that Lisova was detained in Warsaw, who was trying to take out his underage daughters to their homeland.

As the sister of Lisov’s wife told RT, the family moved to Sweden in 2012 from Khabarovsk. Two years later, the spouse was seriously ill and went to the hospital. In 2017, the Swedish guardianship bodies seized the children from their father, since he allegedly did not cope with the responsibilities for their upbringing, and transferred them to a foster Muslim family.

In turn, lawyer Bartosz Lewandowski said that after his arrest his client had asked for asylum in Poland, fearing the actions of the Swedish authorities.
