One hundred and twenty-one women were killed in 2018 by their spouse or ex-companion, one every three days, according to data released Wednesday by the delegation of victims of the Ministry of the Interior.
This number, which includes official couples (spouses, cohabitants, etc.) or not (lovers, episodic relationships ...), is down slightly compared to 130 feminicides identified in 2017. The government announced Sunday the holding of a "Grenelle of domestic violence" in September to stop this plague.
