He also pointed out that the project is part of the strategic plan of the department and is part of the objectives of the strategic plan. To develop the emirate's sewage networks in cooperation with the Sharjah Urban Planning Council (SCO) to cover areas of high population density in Kalba.

"Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Union, Ruler of Sharjah, a link will be made between the existing buildings and the implemented networks. The Department will cooperate with the Municipality of Kalba city and will connect and connect the buildings to the current sewage network to serve 2217 buildings Of which 82 are government buildings, 58 are for commercial buildings and 2077 are for citizens, of which 557 are for the beneficiaries of the Department of Social Services. The remaining 1520 will be linked to the disabled. They will be connected to the sewage network and will facilitate the cost of delivery to them in installments and installments to be paid over one year.

Al-Suwaidi pointed out that work in the population areas requires a lot of care especially in places that contain residential and historical houses to avoid any possible damage. Especially that the drilling work in some areas 14 meters below the surface of the earth, especially that Kalba coastal city, making it more difficult to dig and work because of the high level of groundwater in the work areas and the nature of the soil in the city and the process of water depletion in addition to the mixing of groundwater with soft soils. As well as the work of land settlements and mountain pieces, especially in the mountainous areas where the Department of the work of cutting large quantities and filling some places. It has also coordinated with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) working side by side on the road paving project in these areas.

The project will serve 2217 existing buildings ranging from residential villas, commercial buildings, gas stations, gardens, hospitals, police stations, nurseries, schools and mosques in 13 areas, including Al Saf, Square 16, Square 19, Al Qalaa, Khor Kalba, Sidra, Hittin, and Al Khuwair.

The plant has a capacity of 3700 cubic liters per day, which was completed by the department in Kalba with 50,000 gallons tanks. It includes sedimentation basins, pump rooms, control center, ventilation basins and balance tank.

The head of Public Works Department in Sharjah said that these projects contribute to the preservation of the environment, public health and safety through integrated sewage networks, increase investment opportunities, increase the green areas of irrigation lines for water treatment and reduce the need for tanks.
