CPAM Loiret has lodged a complaint for "suspicion of false statement" against a general practitioner in Orleans who said receiving up to 120 patients per day, it was reported Wednesday from concordant sources.

The general practitioner, Jean-Marc Blanchon, who claims his innocence and was placed in custody Thursday, July 4, said he was a victim of the medical desert.

But according to Jean-Claude Barbot, director of CPAM Loiret, the doctor was not placed in custody "because he receives too many patients".
