The Chief of Staff spoke again on the political situation of the country this Wednesday, July 10. Ahmed Gaïd Salah said he supported Acting President Abdelkader Bensalah, whose term expired theoretically Tuesday night. The Chief of Staff reiterated that the army was in favor of organizing the presidential election as soon as possible. But the speech was also threatening to the protesters.

Those who are not with the army are against it. This is essentially the message of the Chief of Staff who issues a series of warnings. Warning first of all against those who chant " civil status, not military " in the demonstrations; then to the demonstrators who carry the Berber flags , but also to those who support them and denounce prisoners of opinion or politics.
