According to the agency, on July 9, 13 children turned to a doctor with complaints of abdominal pain and nausea at the children's recreation center in the village of Lisichkino.
They were examined and sent to the hospital in Atkarsk. On July 10, five more children applied for medical assistance, who were also taken to a medical facility.
“Of the 18 children aged 6 to 12, 14 were hospitalized. They received the necessary medical care. The condition of the children is satisfactory, ”- clarified in the UK.
Investigators, together with the staff of Rospotrebnadzor, examined the scene of the incident and took samples in the kitchen, in the living rooms and in the common areas.
Earlier, the investigative authorities of Primorye began checking on the fact of hospitalization with intestinal infection of 67 pupils of the “Young Fisherman” children's camp in Lazovsky district of the region.
