«Localization» applies new reduced fees on 145 service and treatment

The Ministry of Human Resources and Localization started implementing new reduced fees for 145 services and treatment, including 17 services, with a total reduction of 50% and up to 94% and 128 transactions to be completed through the service centers providing the services of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation , "Facilitation", "management", "consensus" and "guidance" as well as "assessment" services.

This follows the decision of the Council of Ministers on service fees and fines in the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

According to the decision, the ministry will continue to exempt the establishments from paying the permit fee for the employment of a national worker or citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, as well as exempting fishing boat facilities from work permit fees.

The new fees are part of the government's policy to foster an incubating environment for investors, support entrepreneurship and employers by reducing operating costs related to labor recruitment and employment costs, Human Resources and Emiratization Minister Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli said. In the labor market, and enhance their employment opportunities in private sector enterprises.

He stressed the importance of the decision in terms of enhancing the productivity of the labor market in the country by encouraging private sector establishments to employ skilled workers with expertise and competencies, which contributes significantly to raising the percentage of knowledge workers in line with the objectives of the National Agenda for Vision 2021.

He pointed out that the new reduced fees will enhance the flexibility of the labor market, meet the needs of private sector establishments of labor already existing in the labor market, as well as allow people to establish their families to invest their energies through working in the private sector, And at the same time provides enterprises with additional options to meet their functional needs.

According to the decision, the fee for applying for a work permit for those who are to establish their families for different categories of establishments has been reduced from 200 to 100 dirhams, with a reduction rate of 50%. The decree set a fee of 300 dirhams to issue a work permit for those who reside in their families for two years for different categories of establishments, whether the worker skillful or limited skill.

The fees prior to the issuance of a work permit for those who have been living with their families for two years, amounted to skilled and low-skilled workers of the first category 300 dirhams, and the second category (a) for skilled workers 500 dirhams and only skill 1000 dirhams, and level B for skilled labor 1000 dirhams The skill level is AED 2,000, the skilled level is AED 1500, the skill is only AED 2,500, the skilled level is AED 2,000, the skill is AED 3000, and the skilled and low skilled workers in the third category are AED 5000. For these establishments amounted to 94%.

The fee for issuing a work permit decreased from 200 to 100 dirhams by 50%, while the permit issuance fee for the skilled worker decreased for two years, as well as the renewal fee of 50% for the different categories of establishments. (AED 250), Level B (AED 500), Level C (AED 750) and Level (AED 1000). The fee for third category establishments is AED 2500.

According to the decree, the request for a transfer permit and the use of a skilled worker from one establishment to another, owned by the same owner or partner, as well as the transfer fee and the use of skilled worker from one establishment to another, decreased by 50% The fee for the issuance of the mentioned permit is 50% as well. The current fee for the first category establishments is 75 dirhams, the second class is AED 125 and the level is AED 250 and the level is AED 375 and the level is AED 500. The decision reduced the fees for the work permits of the juvenile, the temporary work permit, the work permit for a period of time, the training permit, the worker's test permit and the work permit by 50% for the different categories of establishments. The current fee for each of these permit requests is AED 50 The current fee for the amendment of the work contract is AED 100 for the different categories of establishments with a reduction of 50%.

50% discount on the brokerage agency license fee

The decree of the Council of Ministers on service fees and fines reduced the license fee of the agency for a period of one year and renewal by 50%. The current license fee is AED 25,000 and the renewal is AED 12,500. This is the same reduction rate for the temporary employment agency license for one year and renewal. The current license is AED 50,000 and the license renewal is AED 25,000.
