In an interview with France 24, Moroccan Prime Minister Saad Eddine El Othmani stressed the need "to have a rapprochement, dialogue, partnerships, cooperation between the Maghreb countries". He asserts that the political line of the Moroccan government is very clear and is based on several national principles: "The Islamic religion, the national interest and national unity, the democratic and social monarchy and finally, a logic of political participation" .
At the mention of the next elections in the country, in 2021, the Moroccan Prime Minister sweeps the question: "We will see later, we do not work in a logic of elections, but in a logic of homework".
