According to Deutsche Welle, the fee will be from € 1.5 to € 18.
In the case of increasing the collection, it will be distributed to all flights from airports in France, with the exception of flights to Corsica and French overseas territories.
It is expected that the new collection will annually bring about € 182 million to the French treasury.
The received money is planned to be invested in the railway.
