“France welcomes the readiness of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to start a dialogue with her Russian counterpart on resolving the crisis between the two countries,” TASS quoted the French Foreign Ministry statement.
Earlier, Zelensky offered Putin to hold talks on the Crimea and Donbas in Minsk, with the mediation of the United States, Britain, France and Germany.
Zelensky's initiative was supported in Belarus.
