The OPCW confirmed that all chemical weapons production facilities in Syria have been destroyed

The text, in particular, notes that the OPCW secretariat “verified the destruction of all 27 chemical weapons production facilities declared by the Syrian Arab Republic”.

"All chemicals declared by the Syrian Arab Republic, which were removed from its territory in 2014, were destroyed," the report also clarifies.

At the end of May, the spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, Stefan Dujarrik, said that the World Organization could not independently confirm or deny information about the alleged use of chemical weapons in Syria.
