“The Ukrainian side drew the attention of American partners to the active militarization of the Black Sea region by Russia. The parties agreed that the situation in this region poses a security threat not only for Ukraine, but also for the entire Euro-Atlantic region, ”the ministry’s press service said.
It is reported that the parties also discussed the deepening of cooperation in the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and cyber security issues.
Earlier in Ukraine, NATO military exercises Sea Breeze launched in the Black Sea.
State Duma Deputy Yury Shvytkin, in an interview with the FAN, noted that the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, supporting the NATO military exercises in Ukraine, continues the course of aggressive rhetoric towards Russia, initiated by his predecessor Peter Poroshenko.
