The spokesman for the Sudanese Military Council, Shamseddine Kabbashi, expected the return of the Internet in two or three days, stressing that there are arrangements for the return of service.

During a meeting with the ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions, Al-Kabbashi said yesterday that the drafting committee of the agreement signed between the military junta and the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change has supervised the end of its work in preparation for signing the parties.

Al-Kabbashi justified the delay in restoring the Internet service by saying: "We delayed the restoration of the Internet service in order to maintain the agreement."

He explained that the military council has not yet been informed of the candidate of the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change of the Prime Minister, saying that the agreement provided for the selection of ministers of independent personalities and non-partisan competencies.

He pointed to a meeting between the Council and the forces of freedom and change «to unite the media discourse».
