According to the Florida Today edition, there are two stainless steel Starship models on the site, one of which is under construction.
"The fire was isolated in a sea container at the site, and it was extinguished thanks to the fire department, which arrived within (a few) minutes," SpaceX spokesman James Gleason said.
It is noted that the cause of the fire is being investigated. No injuries.
Earlier, a fire occurred at the Tesla electric vehicle manufacturing plant in the US state of California.
